How can you take one of the most boring motorcycles out there and reincarnate it as one of the coolest you have seen? This project started with a “free” bike, well, free is far from what it took! The goal was to build something cool from something not cool! There isn’t much left of the original Yamaha Seca II except for the engine and frame cradle. This bike is a attention getter and a perfect ride for a run to the store for “milk”. Frame has been stretched 7 inches and raked to 34 degrees, running gear was stolen from a Yamaha R6 with inverted forks and dual front discs. Deleting the airbox on this was an exercise in frustration; it has venturi carbs that require a precise amount of back pressure. We accomplished this thru trial and error by placing aluminum discs with the proper amount of holes in a specific pattern under the air cleaner stackers. The result is amazing and a super fun bike to ride! This is a one of and probably won’t be repeated.
